Dear People of Busia,
Over the years, I have had the privilege of interacting with people from different walks of life across our county and beyond. I have spoken with farmers who work tirelessly yet struggle to access reliable markets. I have met young people full of talent, ambition and ideas, but uncertain about where opportunity will come from. I have listened to traders who navigate economic challenges every day while trying to provide for their families. I have heard the frustrations of citizens who simply want public resources to be used responsibly and public services to work as they should.
Through these conversations, one thing has become increasingly clear to me: Busia does not lack potential. Busia does not lack talent. Busia does not lack opportunity. What we have often lacked is leadership that consistently translates these strengths into meaningful outcomes for our people.
That conviction is what has led me to offer myself for service as your Senator.
My Journey
Like many young Kenyans, my journey has been shaped by hard work, education, perseverance and a belief that progress is possible. My professional experience in business, finance, operations and entrepreneurship has given me the opportunity to understand how decisions, policies and institutions affect people's lives.
It has also taught me the importance of accountability, planning, responsible stewardship of resources and long-term thinking. These experiences have strengthened my belief that leadership should be guided not by slogans, but by competence, integrity and service.
Why the Senate Matters
The Senate plays a vital role in protecting devolution, overseeing county governments and ensuring that counties receive the resources necessary to serve their people. The decisions made in the Senate influence healthcare, agriculture, education, economic development and many other aspects of our daily lives.
Busia deserves a strong voice in these conversations. A voice that is informed. A voice that is prepared. A voice that understands both the opportunities and challenges facing our county.
